Jez here, founder of PracticeHub! I wanted to give you all a personal update on where we're at with our platform rebuild (you may have heard it being referred to as Flow) and am sharing some details on our process and a teaser of the new platform below.
To start, it would be wise to give some context on how Flow originated, and why its been such a long journey to get it to where it is now.
Development on Flow started over two years ago as a simple automatic queuing feature within our current platform. It was built, it worked, and it was ready to ship for you all to use. However, while we were building we realised that with advancing technologies, where we wanted to take our product, the ongoing feedback that we receive from our customers, and changing expectations of what our customers wanted and needed - there were more problems to solve, and more friction to remove.
At the same time we were staring down a decade of technical debt on a platform that needed to be modernised to get us where we needed to be.
Would we rewrite what we had, on our old platform, or rebuild from scratch?
So, I made the harder call and one that has caused these delays in launching.
We've pulled PracticeHub apart, based on the feature requests and feedback we've received, conversations we've had with customers, personal experience of being patients in practices that use PracticeHub, and what we've observed live in clinics, and rebuilt everything on a modern framework with AI features baked in, built from the ground up,
What we've created solves a significant number of problems and pain points for our users, and we will continue to push forward and do more.

Previously, your payment options were restrictive. Intervals were limited, setup was more complicated than it needed to be, and automated membership payments effectively meant one thing: GoCardless direct debit. If you wanted to take regular payments using card details alone, you were simply out of luck. On top of that, treatment schedules and payment plans were managed separately- creating extra manual work just to keep everything in sync.
